How to Play
Block Puzzle × Card-Battle RPG — watch and you'll know how to play
🧩 In one line: fit blocks onto a 9×9 board, fill a full row / column / box to "clear" it → deal damage to the enemy. Clear all enemies to win.
Just like Woodoku block puzzle, but every clear is an attack.
A team of 5 hero cards, each one "guarding" a box (3×3) on the board — that determines the box's element.
The board = 9 boxes, mapped to the elements of your 5 cards.
This is what makes the game special 👇
① When you clear a box → its element generates an "element block", saved onto the matching hero card (a small block appears on the card).
② When you want it, drag it off the card onto the board → it's a wildcard block that fills any empty cell and sets up more clears (a combo-chain engine).
③ You don't have to use it right away! You can stockpile them —— grind small blocks against early mobs, then unleash everything on stage-3 boss for maximum satisfaction.
Bigger blocks = higher level (clearing more cells at once makes bigger blocks). Each card caps at LV3; stacking two of the same element can push it to LV4–5. Each card can only hold 1 block (the highest level replaces the rest).
🔥 Fire / 🪨 Earth / ⚡ Thunder blocks auto-rotate randomly when generated (no need to rotate manually — you get a different orientation each time).
💧 Water / 🌀 Wind blocks have a fixed orientation (vertical / horizontal) → you always know what you're getting, easiest to plan around.
Each card has a small button above it — land enough hits to charge it up, then tap to unleash:
Every block you place that clears something adds +1 to your combo; any move that clears nothing resets combo to zero → the thrill is all about "keep clearing, don't stop."
The higher the combo, the higher the damage multiplier — and it ramps up fast: 2-combo ×1.25, 3-combo ×1.6, 4-combo ×2.1, 6-combo ×3.5… no cap.
💥 Clear 15+ cells in a single move (easiest when you unload stockpiled element blocks all at once) → that hit strikes all enemies.
Arrow = counters.
Bringing the right element to a stage makes things much easier — but bring the wrong one and good play (chaining combos, stockpiling blocks) can still turn it around.
When the board is full and your current blocks won't fit — if a card has a usable element block, it will pulse and glow to remind you. Drag it out to bail yourself out, no HP lost.
Only if even your saved blocks can't save you will you spend a bit of HP to reshuffle. So skilled players almost never lose HP.
Your board, combo, and element blocks all carry over into the next stage, so each 3-stage city is one continuous fight.
